FINAL assessment:
This year, I'm really glad I stuck with French and continued to learn more French at Lincoln. I think that even though it's been a tough year with this class, I've learned a lot and I have improved. I have learned so much about the French culture especially in Francophone countries. I have learned many expressions and things people say in French that would help me get around in French-speaking countries. I've learned how to conjugate more and more words. This class helped me a lot to learn about time management and I think I really improved on that and that was shown in the Cote D'Ivoire project. I'm proud of what I've learned and I think next year in French, I'll reach a higher level.
My goal at the beginning of the year was to time manage better and make sure I have everything completed and I think I did really well on that with the preparation for the exam because I did all the packets and I was prepared for what we did next class. I wrote down all the homework and studying I had to do for each class and when we had a lot of work for French I went in order and I planned it all out to be organised. I think that I achieved my goal but I would have to maintain it like this and I think I have to try harder next year and put more effort into the work I'm doing. I definitely think I need to study more and really work hard.
Next year in French, I want to move on to a higher level and be able to speak with French people fluently and understand what they're saying. Even though, I do that now a little, I want to master at it. I don't want to hesitate and mumble when I speak in French. I think it'll be a challenge for me with the writing because even though I understand everything, it isn't my strongest suit so I will need to work and try harder. French 3 will be a level up and I think I'm ready for it.
